I understand that as a Board member, I am required to participate in monthly board meetings (currently 1st Wednesday of each month; maximum of two (2) absences per year.) and the yearly RuCo Pride Annual Celebration in June. I must also make attempts to attend monthly and quarterly events, assist with fundraising ideas/efforts, and developmental activities.

Our Mission - RuCo Pride strives to create safe and affirming spaces so that LGBTQIA+ individuals and their allies can thrive, connect, and build community.

Our Vision - RuCo Pride is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering inclusivity, support, and empowerment within the LGBTQIA+ community of Rutherford County and beyond. Through mutual aid initiatives, advocacy efforts, and monthly events, we strive to cultivate an environment of acceptance, understanding, and celebration of diverse identities. Together, we work toward a future where all members of the LGBTQIA+ community feel valued, respected, and free to live authentically in Rutherford County.
